Former husband of the late Josephine (nee Martucci).  Beloved father of Joseph (Frances), Catherine (Joe) Fantini, Susan Kinney, and Mark (Jeannine) Kinney. Step father of Michelle (Christopher) McElroy and John (Melissa) Fish.  Pop of Terrence (Christina) Larkin, Christopher (Cathi) Larkin, Lauren (Jeffrey) Jones, Andrew (Andrea) Larkin, Stephanie Kinney, Michaelangelo Campanaro, Joseph Kinney, Nicholas Campanaro, Julia Kinney, Angelina Kinney, Amanda Kinney.  Step grandfather of Aerith McElroy, Devon McElroy, Jonah Fish, Carter Fish, and Hannah Wood.  Big Pop of Paul Larkin, Audrey Larkin, Anna Larkin, Gianna Jones, Josie Larkin, and Sienna Campanaro.

Former associate professor emeritus specializing in Shakespearian literature at Villanova University for 55 years.

Viewing Friday 9:00am at St. Monica Church, 2422 S 17th St.  Phila Pa 19145.    Funeral Mass 10:00am.  Entombment, St. Matthews Cemetery in Conshohocken.

    Dr. Kinney was a wonderful colleague and an inspiration to his students. I worked with him over the years, teaching research skills to his students in Falvey Library instruction sessions. He was committed to Villanova University. Sending sympathy and heartfelt good wishes to his family and friends.
