My condolences to the family. Lorraine and I spent many happy occasions with my brother Paul and my mother and friends. She will be missed. She is best known for being a very devoted daughter to her mother Alice who I just met the one time. Heaven has gained another angel in the choir. Rest in Peace Lorraine.❤💜

I have known Lorraine and her wonderful family for her whole life, so this hits hard. Her time with us seemed to pass all too soon. Now there are just many happy memories left. But what sustains is my belief that God will eventually make everything right and good , for all of us

She was a dear friend for 49 ½ years, and will remain in my heart as a dear and beloved friend forever.
She was a part of my family. I shared with her my three children, Andrew, Lillian, and Rachel, and they loved their Lala, a name they affectionately used because Lorraine was too hard for my son, Andrew to say when he was a baby. She has been deemed affectionately Lala by many.

Lorraine was a part of my family growing up. As teenagers, we had some fun times. She loved to play Scrabble with my mother and often did even when I wasn’t home. My sister said, she was like the 5th sister, and that was absolutely true,

Losing a friend, a peer, a sister not by blood but by experience is painful. She was a treasure, a beautiful soul inside and out. We had so much fun, sorrow, and a lifelong journey that has been intertwined for almost 50 years. Few people are so lucky to have a best friend. There are things beyond material things and money that are priceless, this friendship is one of them.

She will not just be missed by me, but she has taken a piece of my heart with her. Goodbye my Best Friend Forever!

I have known Lala my entire life since she is my mom’s best friend. My sisters and I grew up with her visiting us on the weekends. She would take us on trips to mall, out to lunch, and spoil us on goodies we weren’t allowed to have. It was a joy to have her in our lives.

I remember as a kid seeing Lala smoke cigarettes and I was terrified that I would loose her. We would ask her to stop and even steal her cigarette pack. And now some 30 years later that childhood fear has become realized. It breaks my heart to think we will no longer see each other in this life. I miss you Lala.
