Cheryl Ann Goodman-Brackett (nee Stolfo), of Brigantine, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022, at the age of 54, surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl was born on December 20, 1967, in Philadelphia, PA. Her parents Anthony and Elizabeth then moved to Brigantine, NJ, where Cheryl would reside until her passing. She attended Brigantine Public Schools and Holy Spirit High School (HSHS). She was an incredible athlete; loved field hockey and her position as coxswain on the first HSHS female crew team. Cheryl was inducted into the National Honor Society through all four years she attended HSHS, and was a member of many scholastic and social committees as well.
She was blessed with beauty, athleticism, intelligence and a sense of humor that made her so easy to be around.
Cheryl worked in the accounting department at the Federal Aviation Administration (Galloway, NJ), and supported her father’s entrepreneurial endeavors at local businesses: Golden Dolphin Motel, Stolfo’s Bar & Grill and Tony’s Shakes & Steaks.
She married her wonderful late husband Adam Lange Goodman. The two of them were incredibly involved in the community, and gave so much to so many. They became the blessed parents of the most beautiful little girl, Addison Elizabeth Goodman, whom they loved more than anything in the world.
After Adams’ passing in January 2018, Cheryl was yet again blessed to meet Robert (Bob) Brackett who would become her loving husband on July 8, 2021. He quickly became her best friend, partner and a truly loving companion, and a tremendous gift to Addison as well.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband Bob, beautiful daughter Addison, parents Anthony and Elizabeth Stolfo, Sister Darlene Rumbas, Brother Anthony Stolfo, Niece Olivia Rumbas and Nephews Brandon and Anthony Stolfo, Mother-in-Law Angela Brackett, and her life-long friends Cara Lombardo Stewart, Allison Bogle Cordivari, Liz Miller Galantino, and so many other loving relatives, cousins, aunts, uncles, and very dear friends.
A Celebration of the Life of Cheryl Goodman-Brackett will be held on Saturday, September 24 at St. Thomas Church, 331 8th St S., Brigantine, NJ, 08203 viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ.  In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude’s  Research Hospital would be appreciated.
