Devoted husband of Judith Ann (nee Ambruso). Beloved father of Colleen and David Gormley. Brother of John Gormley.
Visitation Thursday, August 11th, 10:00am at Most Precious Blood Church, Collingswood NJ. Funeral mass 11:00am. Internment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Denny was a great guy! He was a fantastic coach and mentor to the kids in the neighborhood. Many memories talking baseball with him and he always told it straight. He will be missed but I know he is happy that he is back with Judy. All out love to David and Colleen.

My condolences to the entire Gormley family. A, mentor and good friend throughout my career in Camden and later at various colleges where Denny would share his knowledge with the next generation of criminal justice professionals. Rest in Peace Denny, and our sympathy to the Gormley family.

Denny was a great guy, cop, husband, father and mentor. I am fortunate to know him and honored to have worn the CPD patch with him. Den is the Best of the Best! My deepest condolences to the family Gormley.

Denny was a great guy! I was a young cop and he was nearing the end of his career. He never made you feel like a rookie, he was always friendly, helpful, and funny. He’s happy in Judy’s arms once again! Until we meet again, brother in blue.
