ROSARTO

Rose (Campitelli) Rosarto passed away peacefully at home on Friday October 29, 2021, with her family by her side. Rose was born in South Philadelphia on February 22, 1922.  She was just four months shy of her 100th birthday.  Known to many for her gregarious personality and generous spirit, Rose will never be forgotten.  The only girl of four children, Rose adored her three brothers (Nicholas, Edward, and Enrico Campitelli), and was dedicated to her family.  After the passing of her mother Jenny Campitelli, Rose dedicated herself to the care of her aging father, John.  Years later her daughter, Carol (Rosarto) would duplicate the same love and devotion for Rose, by caring for her these last twelve years.  Carol predeceased her mother in death, just 15 days ago.  Rose was also cared for and loved deeply by her grandson, Christopher Rosarto and son, Robert Rosarto.  Her dedicated aide of many years, Tessa, was there for her until the very last minute.
