SQUILLACIOTI

Maria (nee Gulla) age 91, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2021 surrounded by children and family.  Maria was born in Calabria, Italy and lived most of her life in South Philadelphia.  She was the beloved wife for 66 years of the late Sebastiano.  Maria had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother and until the last few years of her life prayed the rosary and attended mass daily.  One of her greatest joys was feeding others whether it was her family, friends or even strangers.

Loving mother of Saverina (James) McDonough, Roseann (Jean Kevin) McWilliams, Tina Squillacioti and Vincent (Enith) Squillacioti.  Loving Nana of Jennifer, Ryan (Tracie), Jessica (Brian), Justin, Patrick, Amanda, Alexandra and Anthony. Great grandmother of Ashlyn (Aaron), Nicole (Michael), Jesse, Logan, Colin, and Brooklyn.  Great great grandmother of Vienna and Mila

Viewing Friday 8:30am at the Stolfo Funeral Home, 2536 S, Broad St.  Funeral Mass 11:00am at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 11^th and Jackson Sts.  Int. Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations in Maria’s memory to Epiphany of Our Lord Church would be appreciated.
