Theresa “Joan” passed on March 13, 2021.
Devoted wife of the late Philip. Beloved mother of Philip (Melanie) Sheldon, Ralph (Dawn) Sheldon, Thomas Conroy Sheldon, and the late Daniel Sheldon Sr, and the late Jennifer Martin Sheldon. Mother-in-law of Diana Sheldon. Grandmother of Samantha (Christopher) Grubb, Breanna (Joseph Curtis) Sheldon, Ralph Sheldon Jr., Daniel Sheldon Jr., and Michael DeSanto Jr. Great Grandmother of Peyton, Dylan, Emilee, and Miles. Sister of Patricia Pizzo, Lynn Collins, Gloria Boyce, the late Marie DeLeone, and the late Dolly Forgrove. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing Friday 9:30am at St. Richard’s Church, 19th and Pollock Sts. Funeral Mass 10:30am. Internment private.

I have been friends with the Pizzo family for years and I can say that you were my Aunt Joan. You were a wonderful person with a lovely heart.

To Joan’s Family and many friends, you all are in our thoughts and prayers. We had the honour of knowing Joan &Phil through her sister Arlene (rip).
Joan was extraordinary woman, kind and loving to a fault. She bore her many illnesses with great unwavering faith. Her compassion to others , love of life and her pride in all her children is the stuff of legends. No doubt she is with her beloved Phil, Danny, Jenny, Arlene , Anthony and her many family and friends who have gone home before her. Rest well Joan in the arms of the All Mighty..
