My deepest sympathy. Rest In Peace Bessie. Heaven gains an angel.
I grew up in South Philly on Colorado Street. My family lived a few doors down and across the street from the Sandoli family. Bessie was hands down the nicest Mom in the neighborhood. I admired her ability to raise 5 children, and a dog, “Napoleon?” Despite her diminutive stature she was as strong as any person could hope to be. Her children will carry on her legacy and the world is a better place for it.
