so sorry for your loss… condolences to all the family
Do we shed a tear because he has gone home to Heaven or smile because we have experienced him in life🙏🏻? Having grown up on Bigler St. The Park was the place where we met to play ball! Shoveling the snow off of the basketball court in winter, which was located in the middle of the park , playing football and baseball or swinging from the monkey bar near the sand box that’s what we did! Joe and I often played ball in the park and although I moved away our paths occasionally crossed on his route! He was always upbeat and positive growing up as young teenagers! Having read the notice for Perkie as we called him, he really did lead by example, but I would not have expected anything less from my childhood friend!
