DeJOHN

Anthony E. “Chick” passed on October 15, 2020. Devoted husband of Svetlana (nee Kurmaeva).  Beloved father of Joseph DeJohn, Janvier (Richard) Clark, and Anthony DeJohn.  Grandfather of Anthony, Aaron, Nicholas, Samantha, and Giana.  Brother of Lucia Pack.

Anthony (Chick) DeJohn was a fun loving, kindhearted, giving person.  He worked as a car salesman at the GM dealership and later was managing a famous Sharky’s bar (named after his father, the boxer) where he gained a respect from a difficult crowd!  He turned it to the fine Italian cuisine restaurant ” Di Giovani “, a popular place for a great meal on the way to the stadium to watch a winning Eagles game.  Chick was an accomplished marathon runner and left his footsteps all over the states of Delaware and PA outdoors.  He was a happy man, by his own words and his own master.  His secret of happiness was also because he finally had found a marriage match with a woman from a faraway land: Russia!

Chick was always willing to make compromises and sacrifice his own needs for the sake of his family, which is why he was a cornerstone of his family,  He loved to cook meals on the weekends gathering children and grandchildren around him at the big dinner table.  Friends and family members relied on Chick for the advice or just to have a friendly conversation.  He will be forever in our memories!

Visitation Sunday Evening 6-8pm at the Stolfo Funeral Home, 2536 S. Broad St.  Also, visitation Monday 10-11:30am.  Funeral Service 11:30am.  Int. Private
