RADEMACHER

RADEMACHER

Catherine A. (nee Rodgers) Rademacher passed on June 23, 2020. Devoted wife of James “Keaton” and beloved mother of Elizabeth and Jimmy. Sister of Joseph Rodgers and Christopher Rodgers. Sister in law of Robin (Paul) McCue. Aunt of Mariana Rodgers, and Emmett and Declan McCue. Predeceased by her loving parents Joseph and Marion Rodgers. Known for her talents in the kitchen, especially her Sunday gravy, Catherine loved to cook and gather friends and family around the table. She loved and cared for her family every moment of her too short life. Her children were her pride and joy, and she loved seeing their successes and their accomplishments, especially Elizabeth’s awards and recognition for her talent as a writer, and Jimmy’s awards and recognition for his service and citizenship at school. Catherine always welcomed anyone and everyone into her home, and was an amazing caregiver to her friends and extended family. She especially doted on – and spoiled – her niece and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation Monday 9:00 am at M. Carmel Church, 2319 S. 3rd St., Philadelphia PA 19148
Funeral mass 10:00 am.
Int. Private
In lieu of flowers, donations for Catherine’s family would be greatly appreciated.

I am speaking with a heavy heart. My closest and dearest friend Catherine has left us to fly high in the sky. A part of me feels very empty, but yet my heart still holds her very close! Catherine was a very sweet, kind, loving, beautiful person that touched everybody’s heart. One day we will all meet around that table (of course with the barbecue going out back) and rejoice once again! Prayers for the Rademacher and Rodgers family (and Justin) to stay strong! And Catherine my friend, “fly high” until we meet again! Love, Pat & Frank
