    To the Conti family: my family and I are sorry for the loss of your beloved father. He was a kind man, a good and thoughtful person, worked hard all his life, loved his family, and was a father-in-law to me many years ago and I loved him. I will always remember how meticulous he was when trimming the Christmas tree, hanging wall paper for your mom, or polishing his car on Rosewood Street. I remember the tears of sorrow he shed many years ago – now replaced with tears of joy. God bless you all. May he and your mother, together at last, rest in peace forever reunited in heaven with those they dearly loved.

    How quickly the years have passed – we pause and they are gone
    The seasons come and go – Like a melodious song.
    Every life has a purpose – sadly, some are not here long. . .
    Yet every life is knit in God’s image and for His purpose
    A new born . . . God’s masterpiece . . . a precious song.

    Softly, softly, lifted on a blanket of love
    Carried by angels to God’s kingdom above
    Born a few days early on the ninth day of May
    Lord, it was not supposed to turn out that way
    But . . .
    A thousand years would still have been too soon
    Thus her earthly life ended on the ninth day of June.

    You see . . .
    An angel wrote in the Lamb’s Book of Life
    forever Christina Rose’s birth;
    And whispered: “Too beautiful for earth . . .
    . . . loved, remembered by all who cherished her birth.”

    Then in a moment. . .
    An angel wrote in the Lamb’s Book of Life
    James and Gloria together in heavenly birth;
    And whispered as he closed the Book
    “Redeemed – they are mine, saith the LORD – forever from the earth . . .”

    Eternally aware of the song of her birth
    A song, so pure . . . not worthy of earth;
    They reached for this little one with unfurled hands
    Because – in His presence they now understand.
    No more tears to shed nor fear or harm
    Their infant granddaughter, Christina Rose,
    Jesus placed in their arms.
    What joy they are beginning to see . . .
    Her birth had such meaning eternally.

    Grace flows down from our resurrected, glorified Savior
    Nailed to the cross for me
    For you . . .
    Raised from the dead . . . our Lord Christ ascended to heaven
    The Way, the Life, the Truth . . . for me; for you.

    Do not tarry too long in sorrow or strife
    Be at peace . . . with all . . . and embrace eternal life!
    Grace flows down from your Savior, ’tis true . . .
    Nothing you can do
    To satisfy the debt
    Christ has already paid
    On the cross for you!

    Now, by faith, simply trust
    In all He has done . . .
    Crucified, dead, buried
    And risen again . . .
    To make you a daughter; to make you a son!

    Alive forever – do you trust? Do you believe?
    For by grace are you are saved through faith
    Eternal life . . . you will receive.

    You see . . .
    An angel wrote in the Lamb’s Book of Life . . .
